Wal Mart and janitorial supply stores carry a product called DeSolvIt. It works wonders removing oil, grease any sticky petroleum based goop that happens to take up residence on your boat, hands, clothing, furniture wherever. The natural based orange cleaners are excellent as well. Do not use these products around rubber. The distillates break down rubber and it’s not choosy as to what kind.

Keep your boat washed and protected with Advantage. It keeps the sun from deteriorating the finish and makes cleaning much easier. You?ll be happy you did when it comes time to sell. Advantage contains no petroleum distillates that soften the adhesive backing on the lettering on your boat. It protects the lettering from UV damage.
